In a game of overshadowed by the physical tactics employed by the Dutch and overacting theatrics by the Spanish, Andres Iniesta managed to break the deadlock after 116 minutes of play after the Holland defense was finally broken down which sent Spain to their first ever World Cup Victory.
And it also ensured that Paul the Octopus maintained his 100% predictions in this World Cup. Time for the Spanish to honor the octopus, and protect it from not only the Germans, but the Dutch as well.
Poor final. But at least the team playing anti-football did not win =)
